Best BBQ I've had since arriving to Fort Rucker area.

Always a good place for a quick, filling and delicious lunch.

This is the best BBQ I have ever had. The service is amazing. Fast, friendly, small home town feel.

Loved it they are great cooks and have a great energy and kindness. Can't wait to go back

Quite the hole in the wall... But that's not a bad thing, the barbeque is really good, the portions are big, the team is friendly, and the prices are good. Grab your lunch in a brown paper bag, sit down at a picnic bench and enjoy!

Brisket is amazing, and always seems better than the last time, each time. The smiling and friendly service just tops off a great experience... you can not go wrong visiting Choppers for an awesome lunch.

Went there for a Thanksgiving Day meal & the staff was very polite & accommodating.

I had the ribs and they were dry, I was disappointed. I wanted to love it but, sadly I didn't. Usually a sauce can fix dry meat but there was no fixing my ribs. I smoke pork ribs, briskets and pulled pork and if I can make it better than a place that is selling it to customers I cannot recommend "Choppers Old School BBQ" to someone who is going to pay money for this food, sorry.

The most awesome Thanksgiving meal! I bet they fed 300-500 people! No waiting and the service was outstanding. The food was home cooked and absolutely delicious! As good as my moms! There was also probably 20 desserts to choose from! Thank you choppers! When you come in for ribs, chicken or BBQ it is all excellent! We eat there often.

Dont go around dinner hours on a weekday. Ribs were unbelievably dry. Place was a ghost town. On a side note I know people that went at lunch and said it was great. Unfortunately that wasnt my experience.

Great food amd wonderful service. So far I have had the ribs and the pulled pork, awesomeness. Gives me the feel of a local family restaurant. They do support functions and get togethers with proper notice..Only draw back which is out of their control, is the location. Unless you know about it, you will not see it driving on the main roads. Other than that its a great place to grab a quick bite for a good price....

This place is off the chain! Love the different types of sauce and all the fixins.

It has been some time since I longed for the brisket here, and was highly disappointed today. I have to give it two F’s for fatty and flavorless. It’s like the rub was forgotten and none of the fat cooked off nor was cut off. It lacked the smokiness I remember as well. I hope this was a bad day; otherwise it is back to chicken and no more brisket for me. This is strike two in a row on the brisket and I only go once a month so I hope the chicken is great next month!

Food was okay a little too dry. Needed more sauce choices. Fast service though.

The sandwich was quality.. but I didn't like the drink situation and the garlic mashed potatoes were atrocious.. tasted watery.. I might try again sometime to give a second chance based on all the other positive reviews.. maybe today was an off day.. until they get a fountain machine for drinks they will never achieve 5 star status with me.

Owners and staff very awesome. Helps community and veterans. Also veteran himself. Don't worry the sandwich will actually have meat. Not like other bbq places he really piles it on there.

The BBQ is SUPERB! Personally, I LOVE the baked potato and sweet tea. Bring an appetite because portion size is pretty good sized. Did not know I ate that much because the brisket was DELISH! You also get to choose your own sauce AND pour as much to your liking. The staff are young and friendly with owners always on site. Everything is well maintained and clean. Also, a geocach is near!

Tasty bbq. I wish it was cooked in a little something since the pork was a bit dry. The sauces were tasty and despite being on the drier side, the meat was flavorful. It is worth coming back to try again.

The best BBQ in the Whole Wiregrass!!

Have had varying experiences but more often than not, I've have received cold Mac n cheese as a side, and the sandwiches looked more like a gas station sandwich.

Really enjoyed the food. The pulled pork was juicy and had a great smoke flavor. The sausage was amazing as well as the smoked mac and cheese. Definitely recommend you check them out.

Great food great husband and wife team that knocks your socks off with their bbq. I love their brisket.

I have eaten at this local mom and pop a couple of times. I have had the pulled pork and the stuffed baked potato. The have a great variety of sauces. My friend had the brisket and said it was the best he had ever tasted. The sides are great! Smoked Baked Beans and Smoked Mac and Cheese are great!! Give this little local mom and pop a try. They have a little something for everyone!

Best independent BBQ I have ever had. If I was on death row my last meal would include Chopper's brisket sandwich and bbq beans.

This place is a classic BBQ joint, great prices and even better food. It moved a few years ago off the main street in Daleville but the food is better than ever.

Worst meat I have ever been served. 3/4 fat. Don't waste your money!

Get in my belly! Meat, meat and more meat. Enough to get the meat sweats. Especially with their awesome jalapeno jelly and habenero mango sauce! Don't walk--run to Chopper's for an unforgettable meal. I bet you can't eat there only once!

Delicious food! The meat has a great smokey flavor. The portions are great for the price. They also have exceptional customer service. My meat was a bit dry and they apologized greatly, made me a new sandwich and gave me a banana pudding on the house. The sandwiches were delicious and they went above and beyond to make sure I was happy. We love the food here! We always look forward to coming and bringing our friends and family.

I drove 5 hours to be at Fort Rucker yesterday. The FIRST stop before I went anywhere else was Choppers! The last place I stopped before leaving the area was Choppers! The chopped brisket and ribs combo are incredible.

Dont let the outside of this plaza fool you. This place is fantastic, owners are great people. If you like spicy, the devils spit sauce is the way to go, wish I could replicate that. Top notch BBQ spot.

Legit BBQ. Huge proportions and unique sandwiches. Was unable to finish the plate. Good BBQ sauce selection also.
